Marc Lou built TrustMRR in 24 hours and made $20,378 the next day. The idea came after a wave of fake MRR screenshots went viral on Twitter in late 2025. TrustMRR is a public database where founders verify their real revenue through Stripe, LemonSqueezy, or Polar API keys. Founders list their projects with verified MRR, get ranked on a public leaderboard, and can list their startups for sale in a built-in marketplace. Buyers can browse deals with real revenue data and valuation multiples. There's also co-founder matching and a leaderboard of the fastest-growing indie products. Within 5 days of launch it hit ~$17K MRR purely from ad spots. By late 2025 it was doing $22K/mo. The platform now has over $1 billion in total verified revenue across hundreds of startups.
