After paying Stripe $1,600 in invoicing fees in a single year, Marc Lou built a self-serve invoicing tool that eliminates the 0.4% per-invoice charge Stripe levies on its users. Founders connect their Stripe account via a restricted API key in under a minute, giving their customers a secure link to find payments, generate PDF invoices, edit billing details like VAT IDs and company names, and download receipts in bulk. The product works with one-time payments, subscriptions, and payment links — including historical transactions. Over 1,600 founders now use ZenVoice, generating $500/month in revenue through a one-time fee model.
