Uncanny Automator

Uncanny Owl launched Uncanny Automator in Canada in 2018 as a WordPress-native automation engine — essentially a Zapier for within WordPress. The plugin let site owners create "recipes": triggers from any WordPress plugin (WooCommerce purchase, LearnDash course completion, form submission) connected to actions across other plugins (send email, add user to membership, update CRM). The beauty: all automation happened server-side within WordPress without sending data to third-party cloud services. This was a massive selling point for membership site operators and LMS platforms who needed complex user journeys automated without paying per-task Zapier pricing. Uncanny Owl had deep experience in the WordPress LMS space from their core product Uncanny Courses. Uncanny Automator spread through the WordPress LMS and membership community. It grew to over 50,000 active installs and $100k+/month in license revenue. A bootstrapped Canadian company building enterprise-quality automation infrastructure for the WordPress ecosystem.
